TRESPASS is a project that takes my previous TWO WORLDS publication to greater lengths. Through two zines Man’s authority over the natural world is juxtaposed with nature’s forceful resistance. The project focuses heavily on suburban life, assessing how people manipulate nature into conforming to their own needs. Whether those be superficial facades of beauty of veils to maintain a level of mystery. This assessment is contrasted with a focus on the derelict and forgotten areas of the urban world, the focus shifts to how these spaces have become embraced by the natural world, a wild freedom is established within this study.
This project acts as the conclusion to a two year long exploration into the relationship between the natural and urban world. What began as a comparison between the two, concludes as a critical study of how these spaces accept their mutual dependance on one another.
